Andrea graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2013, but her journey towards veterinary medicine started at a much younger age. Growing up next to a large conservation area, she insisted on asking to pet every dog encountered. At 15 she began working as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at the local small animal clinic. She moved to Guelph in 2006 to start at the University of Guelph, fell in love, and never looked back! Andrea enjoys all areas of small animal practice but is especially passionate about geriatric & palliative care as well as cases that may be more challenging from a behavioral perspective. She is currently pursuing her Fear Free Certification. When not at work she can be found ankle deep in her garden, chasing her two energetic little girls around, or enjoying the company of her Lab Retriever Keeper and cat Sunny.
