Sammi is currently studying Animal Biology at the University of Guelph, and has hopes of becoming a veterinarian. She loves learning about the different clinical cases and interacting with the compassionate owners at Highway 24. She also enjoys thinking of new ways to elevate welfare through offering enrichment and minimizing stress, and has a special interest in avian and feline physiology. Outside of work, she can be seen training raptors at Wild Ontario, organizing VIDA spay/neuter trips to Central America, or spoiling her rescue cat Kaka!
