Tammy has worked in small animal medicine since completing Centralia College’s Animal Health Technology program in 1988. After graduating from the University of Guelph with a degree in Animal Science, she wrote her exam and became a Registered Veterinary Technician. Tammy has been part of the Highway 24 staff since 1994. Her strong technical skills and extensive knowledge and experience have proven her to be an invaluable member of our team. Tammy has completed additional training in dentistry and is on her way to becoming a certified veterinary dental technician. In 2007 Tammy was the recipient of the OVC Pet Trust Award for her expertise as an RVT, enhancing the health and well being of pets and their people through caring and compassionate work. Tammy and her husband Rich have two sons, Wyatt and Morgan, and a cat called “Sally.” In her spare time she enjoys camping, hiking and gardening.
